- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup melted butter or coconut oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Optional: 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray, or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine mashed bananas, honey, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- If desired, fold in chopped walnuts or chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool slightly before removing from the pan.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
- For longer storage, refrigerate for up to a week or freeze for up to 3 months.
- If freezing, thaw at room temperature before serving.
