  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225 g) of your favorite pasta (penne, spaghetti, or fusilli)
  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced into strips or bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley or basil for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and black pepper. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add cooked chicken, sliced red bell peppers, and pasta to the skillet. Toss to coat with the sauce, cook for 2 minutes until heated through. Garnish with chopped parsley or basil.

Notes

  • Add chili flakes or minced jalapeño for extra heat.
  • Include vegetables like snow peas or spinach for added nutrition.
  • Use high-quality honey to enhance flavor.
