- 8 oz (225 g) of your favorite pasta (penne, spaghetti, or fusilli)
- 2 chicken breasts, sliced into strips or bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce (optional)
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley or basil for garnishing
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and black pepper. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Add cooked chicken, sliced red bell peppers, and pasta to the skillet. Toss to coat with the sauce, cook for 2 minutes until heated through. Garnish with chopped parsley or basil.
