- Butter for cooking

Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Dip each bread slice into the pumpkin mixture, coating well.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook slices until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Serve hot topped with whipped cream and chopped pecans.
Notes
- Use thick-cut bread like brioche or challah for best results.
- Adjust spices to taste for more or less warmth.
