- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup fresh broccoli florets, finely chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté broccoli until tender, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Let cool.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Spread the cooled broccoli evenly over the pastry.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar and Parmesan cheese over the broccoli.
- Roll up the pastry tightly from the long side, then slice into 1-inch thick pinwheels.
- Place pinwheels on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Serve warm.
Notes
- You can add diced ham or cooked bacon for extra flavor.
