Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add egg and maple syrup, mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, stirring until combined.
- Stir in rolled oats.
- Form dough into 1.5-inch balls and place on prepared baking sheets.
- Bake 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
- Let cookies cool completely on wire racks.
- Melt white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Dip half of each cookie into white chocolate and set on parchment paper.
- Decorate with sprinkles or festive toppings if desired. Allow chocolate to set before serving.
Notes
- For softer cookies, bake for 10 minutes; for crunchier, bake closer to 12 minutes.
- You can substitute dark or milk chocolate for white chocolate if preferred.
- Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
