Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add softened butter, eggs, vanilla, and milk. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  4. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and roll into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the dough.
  7. Roll up the dough tightly from the long side to form a log.
  8. Cut into 1-inch slices and place on prepared baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. While baking, whisk powdered sugar and milk to make glaze.
  11. Drizzle glaze over warm cookies and serve.
