Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add cold butter, using a pastry cutter or fingers to blend until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in cheddar cheese and cooked crab meat.
- Pour in buttermilk and gently mix until just combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
- Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Keep warm.
- Drizzle lemon butter sauce over warm biscuits before serving.

- Crab meat can be substituted with cooked shrimp for a different seafood flavor.
