- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
- 3 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for extra spice)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken slices with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Stir well and simmer until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
- Add cooked chicken and pasta to the sauce. Toss to coat evenly and heat through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- Adjust spice levels by adding more or less cayenne pepper.
- For a creamier sauce, add more cheese or cream.
- Serve immediately for best flavor and texture.
