- 1 pound chicken breasts, sliced
- 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 ounces pasta (penne or fettuccine)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season the chicken slices with Cajun seasoning, then add to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and sliced peppers, cook for 3 minutes until fragrant and slightly tender.
- Pour in heavy cream and grated Parmesan, stirring until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
- Combine cooked pasta with the sauce, toss to coat evenly. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan and fresh herbs if desired.
