- 1 pound cheese tortellini
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the tortellini in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning until smooth.
- Add cooked chicken and tortellini to the sauce, stirring to coat evenly. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with chopped basil or parsley before serving.

- Use fresh basil for a more fragrant dish.
- You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
