- 8 ounces of spaghetti or your favorite pasta
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 6 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring constantly.
- Add grated Parmesan, salt, and pepper; stir until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.
- Return cooked pasta to the pot and toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Feel free to add cooked chicken or shrimp for extra protein.
- Adjust garlic and cheese to taste for a richer or milder flavor.
