- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until translucent.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add sliced mushrooms; cook until tender.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir well to combine.
- Gradually pour in beef broth, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
- Reduce heat and stir in sour cream. Season with salt and pepper.
- Simmer for a few minutes until heated through.
- Serve over cooked noodles or rice, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
- For a gluten-free version, substitute flour with cornstarch.
- For added flavor, include a splash of white wine during sautéing.
