Creamy seafood stuffed pasta shells filled with a rich mix of seafood, cheeses, and herbs, baked to perfection for an indulgent meal.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4-6 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 large pasta shells
  • 1 lb cooked crab meat or shrimp, chopped
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced sun-dried tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook pasta shells in boiling salted water until al dente, drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add chopped seafood and cook until just done.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, sun-dried tomatoes, cooked seafood, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each shell with the seafood mixture and place in a baking dish.
  5. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream and pour over the stuffed shells. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can substitute shrimp or crab with scallops or lobster.
  • For a less creamy version, skip the heavy cream or use half-and-half.
  • Serve with a side of garlic bread or salad for a complete meal.
