A rich and creamy seafood stuffed shells dish perfect for a hearty dinner or special occasion, combining tender pasta shells with savory seafood filling and melted cheese.

Ingredients

  • 20 large pasta shells
  • 1 lb (450g) mixed seafood (shrimp, crab, scallops)
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add seafood and cook until just done. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, spinach, cooked seafood, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Stuff each shell with the seafood mixture and place in a baking dish.
  5. Pour heavy cream over the stuffed shells and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute seafood varieties according to preference.
  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
  • Serve with garlic bread or a side salad for a complete meal.
