- 4 large potatoes, peeled and boiled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Mash boiled potatoes with butter, milk, garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Stir in shredded cheddar and Parmesan cheeses.
- Shape mixture into small balls or puffs and set aside.
- Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with bread crumbs.
- Dip each potato ball into flour, then egg, then coat with bread crumbs.
- Place puffs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Feel free to add cooked bacon bits or chives for extra flavor.
- Serve with a side of sour cream or spicy dip for added taste.
