- 2 boneless chicken breasts, sliced
- 8 oz chow mein or similar noodles
- 1 cup bell peppers, thinly sliced
- 1 cup carrots, julienned
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove chicken from skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
- Add bell peppers and carrots, cook for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return chicken to the skillet, add noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Toss well to combine and heat through.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken with shrimp or tofu for variation.
- Adjust soy sauce for saltiness to taste.
- For extra heat, add chili flakes or hot sauce.
