- 1 pound sliced sirloin steak
- 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 keto-friendly sandwich rolls or large lettuce leaves for wrapping
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet with olive oil over medium heat.
- Sauté sliced onions until caramelized, about 10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Cook sliced steak in the same skillet until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spread cooked steak evenly over each roll or lettuce leaf.
- Top with caramelized onions and shredded cheese.
- Roll up or fold the wraps securely.
- Place in a baking dish and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes until cheese melts and crust is golden.
