- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
- In the slow cooker, whisk together beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup.
- Place the meatballs into the slow cooker and pour the gravy mixture over them.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until meatballs are cooked through and tender.
- Optional: Remove meatballs and thicken the gravy with cornstarch mixed with a little water, then return meatballs to cook for another 15 minutes.
Notes
- Serve these meatballs over mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice for a complete meal.
- You can add sliced mushrooms or onions to the gravy for extra flavor.
