Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix well.
  2. Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
  3. In the slow cooker, whisk together beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup.
  4. Place the meatballs into the slow cooker and pour the gravy mixture over them.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until meatballs are cooked through and tender.
  6. Optional: Remove meatballs and thicken the gravy with cornstarch mixed with a little water, then return meatballs to cook for another 15 minutes.
