Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1/2 cup olive oil or vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika. Lightly coat each in flour, shaking off excess.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream, stirring constantly. Simmer for 2 minutes, then add Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Stir until cheese melts and sauce thickens.
- Return chicken to skillet, spooning sauce over. If desired, sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and let melt. Garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, bread chicken with panko breadcrumbs before frying.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for optimal cheesy flavor.
- Add herbs like basil or thyme for variation.
- Serve with crusty bread to enjoy the sauce fully.
