- 1 large head of cabbage
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Core the cabbage and blanch leaves in boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
- Mix cooked rice, ground meat, sautéed onions, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Place a spoonful of filling onto each cabbage leaf and roll tightly.
- Arrange rolls in a baking dish and cover with tomato sauce.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until browned and cooked through.
Notes
- You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
- For a vegetarian version, replace meat with lentils or chopped mushrooms.
- Serve with extra tomato sauce and fresh herbs.
