- 1 lb (450g) boneless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces

- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion, garlic, and ginger; sauté until fragrant and translucent.
- Add spices: garam masala, turmeric, paprika, cumin; cook for 1 minute.
- Add chicken pieces; cook until browned and cooked through.
- Pour in tomato puree; simmer for 10 minutes to blend flavors.
- Stir in heavy cream and remaining butter; cook until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper; garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
Notes
- Adjust spice levels to taste by adding more chili powder or cayenne.
- Serve with steamed rice or naan bread for a complete meal.
