- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 12 oz pasta (penne or spaghetti)
- 1 cup spicy tomato sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook pasta according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Stir in spicy tomato sauce, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Combine cooked pasta, shredded chicken, and sauce in a large bowl. Mix well.
- Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted and golden.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
Notes
- You can adjust spice levels by adding more or less cayenne pepper.
- For extra flavor, sprinkle with crispy bacon bits before baking.
- Leftovers can be stored in airtight containers for up to 3 days.
