- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 large egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until cooked through.
- Optional: sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top during the last 10 minutes of baking.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Use fresh garlic for stronger flavor.
- For extra moisture, add a tablespoon of Greek yogurt or mayonnaise to the mixture.
- Serve with a side of roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes.
