  • 1 chopped onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 8 lasagna noodles, broken
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet until cooked through, then drain excess fat.
  2. Add the cooked beef, onion, garlic, crushed tomatoes, beef broth, and Italian seasoning to the crockpot.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  4. Break the lasagna noodles into short pieces and add them to the crockpot during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  5. Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses before serving.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
