- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

- Pour whiskey into the skillet, scraping up any browned bits, and cook for 3-4 minutes to reduce slightly.
- Add heavy cream and Dijon mustard, stirring well to combine. Simmer until the sauce thickens.
- Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over, and cook on low for 15-20 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For added depth, add a splash of beef broth or a teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or crusty bread to enjoy the rich sauce.
