- 1 lb (450g) thinly sliced beef sirloin or flank steak
- 2 cups chopped broccoli
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- Sesame seeds and chopped scallions for garnish
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add garlic, ginger, and onion; sauté for 2 minutes.
- Add bell pepper and broccoli; cook for another 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, and rice vinegar; cook for 1-2 minutes until well coated and heated through.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped scallions before serving.
Notes
- Adjust soy sauce and sugar to taste for more or less sweetness and saltiness.
- Serve immediately over steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
