Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups of crushed Oreo cookies (about 20 cookies)
- 1 cup of pumpkin puree (preferably canned, unsweetened)
- 8 oz of cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- ½ cup of powdered sugar (optional, for sweetness adjustment)
- White chocolate or chocolate melts for coating
- Orange sprinkles or crushed Oreos for decoration (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine crushed Oreos, pumpkin puree, softened cream cheese, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Using hands or a small cookie scoop, form the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Chill the tray in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up the balls.
- Melt the white or chocolate melts according to package instructions. Dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring full coating.
- Decorate with orange sprinkles or crushed Oreos and allow the coating to set completely.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- For longer storage, freeze for up to 3 months, though coating texture may change slightly.
- Use cold cream cheese for easier mixing.
- Adjust sweetness with powdered sugar as desired.
- For added crunch, roll in crushed pecans or graham cracker crumbs before coating.
