- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, sliced
- 3 bell peppers (red, green, yellow), sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Juice of 1 lime
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- Shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a large bowl, toss chicken slices and sliced peppers and onions with olive oil and spice mixture until evenly coated.
- Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and peppers are tender.
- Remove from oven, squeeze lime juice over the fajitas, and garnish with chopped cilantro and cheese if desired.
Notes
- Serve with warm tortillas and your favorite toppings for a complete meal.
- Adjust spice level by adding cayenne pepper or hot sauce.
