- 4 chicken thighs, skinless and boneless
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 cups cooked rice
- Optional garnishes: green onions, sesame seeds
Instructions
- Combine soy sauce and honey in a bowl. Marinate chicken thighs for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken until golden brown on both sides.
- Add garlic and ginger to the skillet; stir until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cook until chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens slightly.
- Serve chicken over rice, drizzled with sauce, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

- Adjust sweetness by varying honey or sugar amounts.
- For extra flavor, add a splash of rice vinegar or chili flakes.
