- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 packet dry gravy mix
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix chicken broth, gravy mix, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Add butter on top of the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until tender.
- Shred the chicken with two forks if desired and stir to coat with gravy.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken thighs for breasts for more flavor.
- Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta for a complete meal.
