- 4 large apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 box vanilla cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- Optional: chopped pecans or walnuts for topping
Instructions
- Layer apple slices at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the apples.
- Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg evenly over the mixture.
- Spread the dry cake mix evenly over the caramel and apples.
- Pour melted butter over the cake mix.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until bubbly and golden.
- Optional: sprinkle chopped nuts on top before serving.
