  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the peeled carrots into the slow cooker.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together maple syrup, brown sugar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture over the carrots in the slow cooker.
  4. Add small bits of butter on top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours until carrots are tender.
