- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce or coconut aminos
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger (optional)
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup almond flour or gluten-free breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, minced garlic, soy sauce, grated ginger, egg, almond flour, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
- Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- In a small saucepan, heat honey and garlic over low heat until fragrant. Toss baked meatballs in the honey garlic sauce before serving.
Notes
- You can add chopped scallions or cilantro for extra flavor.
- Serve with steamed vegetables or over zucchini noodles for a complete meal.
