  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • For the glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk and let it sit until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add melted butter, egg, and yeast mixture; knead until smooth and elastic.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled.
  5. Roll out dough into a rectangle and spread with cream cheese filling, then sprinkle with chopped strawberries.
  6. Roll tightly into a log and cut into 12 equal slices.
  7. Place slices in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Prepare glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla, then drizzle over warm rolls.
