Instructions
- In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk and let it sit until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add melted butter, egg, and yeast mixture; knead until smooth and elastic.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled.
- Roll out dough into a rectangle and spread with cream cheese filling, then sprinkle with chopped strawberries.
- Roll tightly into a log and cut into 12 equal slices.
- Place slices in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla, then drizzle over warm rolls.
