  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 4 wraps

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large whole wheat or spinach tortillas
  • 1 pound sliced turkey breast (preferably roasted or smoked)
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh spinach or lettuce leaves
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • 4 slices of crispy bacon (optional for added flavor)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs like cilantro or basil (optional for extra zest)

Instructions

  1. Lay out a tortilla on a clean surface. Mix mayonnaise or Greek yogurt with Dijon mustard and spread generously in the center.
  2. Top with sliced turkey, avocado, tomato, spinach, and bacon if using. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
  3. Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and roll tightly from one end to the other, creating a secure wrap.
  4. Wrap each in foil or plastic wrap and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes for enhanced flavor and easier slicing.

Notes

  • For added crunch, include crispy bacon or crunchy veggie sticks on the side.
  • Use gluten-free tortillas to make the wraps gluten-free.
  • Keep ingredients stored separately if you prepare in advance to maintain freshness and crispness.
