Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mixing until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
- Allow cookies to cool slightly on baking sheets before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
