- 1 package puff pastry sheets
- 12 gourmet sausages or hot dogs
- 1 egg, beaten
- Optional sesame seeds or poppy seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the puff pastry sheets and cut each into 3 strips.
- Wrap each sausage with a pastry strip, sealing the edges with a bit of beaten egg.
- Place the wrapped sausages seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds if desired.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

- Serve with mustard, ketchup, or your favorite dipping sauces.
