Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp honey (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then coat lightly with flour.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add lemon juice, chicken broth, and honey (if using), scraping up any browned bits from the pan. Bring to a simmer.
- Stir in butter until melted and the sauce is glossy.
- Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and cook for another 2-3 minutes to absorb flavors.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or fresh thyme.
- You can substitute chicken thighs for breasts for even more juiciness.
